Anniversary concert „Amor y Rosas“ – 25 years of SBO KL at the Westpfalz-Workshops Landstuhl

🎺 25 Years of SBO at the Westpfalz Workshops – „Amor y Rosas“

On Sunday, November 08, 2026, at 17:00, the Symphonic Wind Orchestra of the Kaiserslautern District (SBO KL) celebrates a very special anniversary: For the 25th time, the district's musical flagship will perform at the Westpfalz Workshops in Landstuhl. The anniversary concert bears the wonderful title „Amor y Rosas“ – meaning „Love and Roses“ in English.

🎼 An Orchestra with Staying Power

The SBO KL is a true long-distance runner – in more ways than one. The orchestra has been around for 65 years, conductor Jochen Lorenz has been leading it for 31 years, and the concerts in Landstuhl also have a very long tradition.

🌹 A Traditional Concert that Brings People Together

In 2002, the then district administrator Rolf Künne initiated the first concert at this special venue. Since then, the orchestra has performed at the Westpfalz Workshops every November – much to the delight of people with disabilities as well.

This traditional concert is a highlight in Landstuhl's events calendar, both on a human and musical level. The atmosphere in the workshops is unique, as the orchestra and audience literally come very close to one another here. High-quality symphonic wind music meets a warm, family-like atmosphere – a concert experience you won't find in any traditional concert hall.

The 25th anniversary performance makes a visit especially worthwhile: Secure your tickets in good time and celebrate this special anniversary together with the SBO KL!
