Building permit for the Tante Enso market on the Atzel officially granted
Green light for the conversion: The Tante Enso market on the Atzel in Landstuhl is coming – a pilot project for the district and a big step for local supply!
What many had long hoped for and supported is now official: The building permit for the Tante Enso market in the Atzel district has been granted! District Administrator Ralf Leßmeister personally handed over the symbolic “Red Dot” – the visible start signal for the renovation of the building according to the plans of the Tante Enso Group.
🛠️ Renovation begins – Opening planned for 2025
With the permit in hand, the owner can now start construction measures directly. If everything goes smoothly, the new neighborhood market is expected to open its doors later this year. This brings a long-awaited wish of many residents of Atzel within reach.
🏪 More than a supermarket – a place of community
Tante Enso markets stand for an innovative concept: members co-create, co-decide – and benefit from local, sustainable supply close to home. The market in Atzel will therefore not only become a new shopping location, but also a meeting place for young and old. Encounters, exchange, and community are just as central here as regional products and digital services.
🙌 Great gratitude – and strong commitment
Special thanks go to everyone who made the project possible:
- District Administrator Ralf Leßmeister for his support,
- the district and municipal administration of Landstuhl for the smooth cooperation,
- and of course the numerous shareholders, patrons, and sponsors of the project.
Without this broad civic engagement, such a milestone would not have been possible.
