Parish Church of St. Andreas
The baroque parish church of St. Andreas in Landstuhl dates from 1752/53 and houses the monumental tomb of Knight Franz von Sickingen. Historical, artistic and well preserved.
In the middle of Landstuhl’s old town rises the impressive Parish Church of St. Andreas – an important building from the final period of the Sickingen dynasty. The church was built in 1752/53 and is still considered an urban and cultural landmark today.

The simple, light-painted interior today conveys a clear and calm spatial effect – in earlier times it was decorated with colorful paintings. The church is oriented to the north, and the altar area ends in five parts without a classic choir recess.
