The 36th Landstuhl City Festival will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026. Over 80 hours of music on three stages, food and drink, retail, and Sunday shopping.
🎉 Landstuhl City Festival 2026 – Three Days of Music, Food & City Festival Atmosphere
The 36th Landstuhl City Festival will take place from Friday, September 11 to Sunday, September 13, 2026 in Landstuhl's city center. For three days, the Sickingenstadt will become a meeting place for music fans, families, groups of friends and everyone who wants to spend a special time together in the city center.
The program booklet promises a particularly extensive weekend: over 80 hours of music on a total of three stages, 36 food and beverage stands offering a wide variety of drinks and dishes, as well as 14 retail and arts and crafts stands ensure a varied city festival. The Sunday shopping event from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM is also part of the weekend again.
🎶 Music on three stages
Musically, the 2026 city festival is particularly diverse. From Friday to Sunday, numerous bands, groups and other program highlights will take the stage at the Stadthalle stage, the Rathaus stage and the Alten Markt stage. The lineup ranges from jazz, rock and pop to country, rockabilly and schlager, as well as dance, Irish dance and brass music.
This makes the city festival perfect for a little stage-hopping in between: If you're listening to music at the Alten Markt, you can later stop by the Stadthalle or round off the evening at the Rathaus stage.
🍻 Friday, September 11, 2026 – The Start of the City Festival Weekend
Things get started on Friday at 6:30 PM with the official opening and the ceremonial tapping of the keg at the Stadthalle. Wings of Swing will provide the musical opening there. At the same time, Tune Circus and Prokolli will kick things off on the other stages. In the evening, Revengers, Bruise Brassers and Purple Hazze will provide a musical city festival night on all three stages until midnight.

🎵 Saturday, September 12, 2026 – Music, Dance & Party
On Saturday, the program starts as early as 2:00 PM with Jazz Affinado at the Alten Markt. As the day progresses, Irish dance, Ballett Dimension, The Reflexx, Peifedeggel, Teamwork and other acts will follow. In the evening, things will become particularly intense on all three stages once again: Max Headroom, Jens Huthoff & Band and Rokko Rubin & die Schlagerjuwelen will provide the musical finale of the second festival day.

🌞 Sunday, September 13, 2026 – Church Service, Music & Sunday Shopping
Sunday already begins in the morning with an ecumenical church service at the Stadthalle as well as the Musikverein Hauptstuhl at the Alten Markt. After that, the music continues with Die dicken Fische, Tom Mac & Friends, Vyant, Crew V, Mit ohne Strom, Sonic Boom and The Spikes.
Particularly convenient: From 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Sunday shopping event will also take place. This makes it easy to combine a visit to the city festival with a shopping trip through Landstuhl's city center. Sunday thus combines music, socializing and retail into a varied finale to the city festival weekend.

🍴 Food, Drinks & Browsing
Of course, the culinary offerings are also part of the city festival alongside the music. Numerous stands along Kaiserstraße and around the event areas invite visitors to eat, drink and linger. The program booklet lists 36 food and beverage stands offering a wide variety of drinks and dishes. In addition, there are 14 retail and arts and crafts stands inviting visitors to browse and discover.
The wine village at the Alten Markt is also once again part of the city festival atmosphere. Here, you can combine the musical program with a relaxed stay and a view toward Nanstein Castle.
🛍️ Sunday Shopping
On Sunday, Landstuhl's shops will open from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM for Sunday shopping. This provides an opportunity to combine the city festival with a shopping trip while also supporting local businesses.
