🍻 Festive Opening with Barrel Tapping

The kickoff is on Friday at 18:30 with the official opening on the Town Hall Stage. To the sounds of the traditional band Wings of Swing, which combines hot jazz, blues, and rock’n’roll in the New Orleans tradition, the barrel will be tapped – the first highlight of the weekend. The musicians interpret classics from the 1930s to 1950s with great energy, giving the audience a touch of “Americana.”

🎶 Friday’s Program:

• Wings of Swing – Stage at the Town Hall, 18:30–20:00
• The seven-piece band mixes traditional hot jazz with cool blues grooves and unforgettable rock’n’roll hits. Their goal: New Orleans feeling right in Landstuhl.

• ProgKolli – Stage at the Festival Hall, 18:45–20:15
• The multi-generational band has been rocking stages in the Palatinate since 2022. Nominated as “Best Cover Band in Rhineland-Palatinate,” they fire up the crowd with covers of Queen, Guns N’ Roses, Green Day, and Billy Talent – their charismatic frontwoman with an extraordinary voice gets the audience singing along.

• Bruise Brassers – Stage at the Old Market, 20:15–23:30
• Nine musicians with trumpet, saxophone, and trombone turn Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer, Bruno Mars, or Jan Delay hits into funky party bangers. Striking brass sections, pulsating grooves, and multi-part vocals make every performance a big soul party.

• Club Live – Stage at the Town Hall, 21:00–24:00
• Modern club hits performed live: the ensemble interprets Avicii, David Guetta, Flo Rida, Calvin Harris, and Dua Lipa with real instruments, proving that not only DJs can create a party atmosphere. Whether club or open-air – no shirt stays dry here.

• Fine Rip – Stage at the Festival Hall, 21:00–24:00
• Since 1999 they’ve stood for “Palzrock”: dialect lyrics meet rock and pop classics. Monji, Harry, Christoph, Alex & Marc put their unmistakable stamp on every song while not taking themselves too seriously – a mix of cover band and Palatinate cabaret.
