🎵 Music Program on Saturday
The second festival day brings a musical journey through several decades:
- Disco Inferno – Stage at the Old Market, 16:45–20:00
- The nine musicians from Saarland revive the funk and disco sound of the 70s: pumping bass, triple brass section, and authentic retro look. Classics like “Le Freak,” “Lady Marmalade,” or “Superstition” are enriched with soul, jazz, and rock, making every show a colorful 70s party.
- Sonic Boom – Stage at the Town Hall, 16:30–19:30
- Jacey Dragon and Lizzy Lismann lead as singers through the greatest hits of the 80s. Supported by a skilled band (guitar, drums, bass, keyboards), they create a powerful sound ranging from pop classics to rock anthems – guaranteed authentic and captivating.
- Ballet Kindsbach – Stage at the Festival Hall, 16:30–17:30
- The young dancers of the local ballet school present a mix of classical ballet and modern dance. A beautiful contrast in the line-up and proof of the festival’s diversity.
- The Gentle Jackets – Stage at the Festival Hall, 17:45–20:45
- The “ambassadors of good taste” present swinging, pop, and soulful gems from Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Rod Stewart, Michael Jackson, Hall & Oates, Dire Straits, and more. With multi-part vocals, saxophone solos, and elegant attire, they captivate as a small, exclusive ensemble.
- Max Headroom – Stage at the Town Hall, 20:15–23:30
- The six-piece rock and blues cover band from the Taunus plays hits from Aerosmith to ZZ Top as well as modern songs from Mando Diao and Maroon 5. The experienced musicians love to take the audience on a musical journey – a guarantee for an energetic evening.
- Rokko Rubin & the Schlager Jewels – Stage at the Old Market, 20:45–23:30
- “Hossa!” is their motto. With glittering costumes and a good dose of humor, the nine-piece cult band celebrates the Schlager world of the 60s and 70s. Singing, dancing, and laughter are guaranteed – 100% live and 100% nostalgia.
- DOCs – Stage at the Festival Hall, 21:15–24:00
- From AC/DC to Van Halen to 90s pop: the Palzrockers reinterpret classics in their own style, embedded in an impressive light show. Perfect for everyone who wants to end the evening with a rocking vibe.
🛍️ Side Program
Use the breaks between the shows to explore the numerous stalls. Handicrafts, delicacies, and the scent of fresh tarte flambée fill the air. On Saturday, the Sickingen bus runs late into the night – so you can enjoy the last chords in total relaxation.
